How time flies when you're having fun! Long story and not enough time. A real post soon. I promise.
Beginning a new week
For the last week and a half we'd been in Colorado. The husband was finishing his training period and now they've sent him to Rock Spring, Wyoming for a 3 day school. Rock Springs is a pretty nice town. The people here are friendly, that's always nice. They have this place that has the best snowcones. I'm hooked! I'm not even thinking of the calories. It's been nice having the hotel gym at my disposal. That I will miss. I'm not sure if the town that we will be located in has a gym. If not, I may have to bring my exercise bike with me.
I'll be so happy to go home on these days off and get back to the cooler evenings. It's been so hot. Thank Goddess for air conditioning. LOL I can't wait to get home and do some cooking. I never thought that I would ever get tired of eating out. But I'm longing for a good home cooked meal
Well, not sure what the rest of this week will hold. I'm just taking one day at a time. Hope all of you have a magickal week! Blessing All......
Clap if you believe!!!!!
Going home
Going home. YAY The husband will be off for a couple of weeks so we are going back to Montana. After having been gone for a couple of weeks we've decided that we will not be moving to Wyoming when his training is over. We looked for a place to live but there was nothing that suited us. Apparently there is a big housing shortage in Wyoming and the closest suitable place was 65 miles from his work. With the prices of gas, we decided that that was not going to be feasible for us to do. We've decided to take our camper out there and go home during his days off. We'll try this nomad life for awhile.
I've been so stir crazy the last couple of days. Maybe it's knowing that I'll be in my own bed in a couple of days. I'm so looking forward to relaxing in my backyard and having my friends over.
The husband was told that he may be going to Houston for some training in the future. That would be really nice. I haven't been to Texas in a very long time. The plus is that I get to go with him. I love all the shopping malls and the mexican food restaurants. I love all the people of different cultures. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get to go soon.
I found a site that some of you might like and benefit from. It's http://livestrong.com It's Lance Armstrong's site. I really love it! I found out so much information about my osteoarthritis. It's been a real help to me. Check it out, it's worth your while, especially if you suffer from aliments like I do.
Well I'll got things to do and people to see. YA RIGHT! Have a great week everyone! I may be gone for a couple of days since we'll be traveling home. I'll try to check in and see how all of you are doing. I value all of your friendships! Blessed Be!
Happy Father's Day
I'd like to wish all the father's here at Covenspace a Very Happy Father's Day!
My dear husband is having to work today, so we don't get to celebrate until later. He isn't the father of my children but he is the best step-father there could possibly be. He loves my children like they were his own. We're very fortunate to have him in our lives. I love him so much! I think I'm going to treat my husband to a nice rib-eye steak on his day. He really deserves it.
I called my father earlier. He's had a good week. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor about 6 months ago. He isn't having surgery because his chance of survival is only 50 percent. He has good days and bad days. I've been trying to spend as much time with him that I possibly can, so we visit every days off. The husband has taken over doing the yard work so he doesn't overdo it. He seems to have changed some since he knows that he could die at anytime. I think our relationship has changed also. I see so much of myself in him at times. I've always known that I'm more like him than my mom. Maybe it's that I'm looking at him closer. For now, I just hope that he is with us long enough to see his great-grandchildren. So to him and to the universe I say, "I love you Dad!"
Blessed Be
